Two Factor Authentication (2FA) is an extra security measure to prevent account takeover, and improve account privacy.
This is the main purpose of the 2FA Authenticator app. You can use it to generate time-based one-time passwords (TOTP) to access your accounts on supported websites. The generated codes are one-time tokens that provide an extra layer of security to your online accounts. You will only need to scan a QR code or type your secret key.
It also supports SHA1, SHA256, and SHA512 algorithms.
